Well it was only a matter of time, and believe me this wont be the first both SONY and Microsoft will offer whatever range of peripherals to players to help gain ground.
Fact is it will be Nintendo who will have to hope that their customers are loyal and wont want to move away to a more powerful platform that offers what they have plus a whole lot more.
Apprently the new controller which was announced ad GDC is far superior to the Wii controller as it uses more senors to give more accuracy.
Also it should help deliver more casual games to the platform, however the smart move for Microsoft would be to license the ones that sold well on NINTENDO.
